AW-RSPF 1 - 500 Automated back-washable filters for alkaline and caustic solutions
General Information
With the use of new chemical-resistant plastics (PE) filters and modified process technology, liquid solutions can be filtered automatically without filter replacement.
Function
The solution is filtered through a coarse filter into the working storage and then into the circulation with the filtering modules. The modules separate the particles from the liquid, which is carried back to production. The particles remain in the circulation and are concentrated.
With a rising level of particle concentration, the filtration efficiency of the plant drops. When the efficiency drops below the level of the maximum concentration, the concentrate is discharged and the filters are backwashed with a small amount of solution from the filtrate tank. After the backwashing cycle, the plant resumes filtering.
