AW Electronic - Abwasser und Wassertechnik

AW-VV 20 - 500 Vacuum evaporator

General Information

The aqueous solution to be evaporated is boiled under vacuum, evaporating the water at ca. 35-40 degrees Celsius.
The remaining liquid is concentrated and the water vapor condensated and removed. The condensation  energy is retained and used to reduce energy costs. The concentrated remainder is carried off once a preset concentration level is reached.
Filling and clearing the vacuum chamber is automated, a heat exchanger transports heat and cold.

Principle

Evaporation by heating under vacuum

Function

The boiling chamber is evacuated by the vacuum unit when the plant starts. At the same time, product is introduced through a valve. It is heated by the heat exchanger until the water evaporates. If the product level drops below a certain threshold, new product is carried into the chamber.
The liquid in the chamber is concentrated until the desired concentration is reached, when it is pumped out.
Rest liquid discharge can be either time- or concentration dependent. The water vapor is condensated in a pipe coil and carried off by the vacuum unit.

Installation

The plant is delivered in compact form, mounted on a steel rack and ready for connection. On site, the lead connections (city water, pressured air) and electrical connection have to be created.
